Project FOR Life

Hello and Happy New Year!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful support on my last post. I’m glad to know the way I do things around here is liked. While I don’t foresee a big haul in the way of change, there definitely will be some newness in 2011. Let’s start with the first big announcement.

Today I begin Project FOR Life.

Essentially it boils down to my own spin on 365 Project. Given my recent love for photography and the passion I have but don’t always give to my blog, I’ve decided to post a new photo every day for the year of 2011. The goal of Project (F) rame (O)f  (R)eference Life is to learn more about photography, discover the world around me, see things in a new light (literally and figuratively) and talk about life with all of you.

Eventually, I will most likely move this to its own tab at the top of my page, but for now it will remain on the homepage. I’ll definitely still be writing – and may write oftentimes about what it is I am posting. It’s going to be a work in progress and I hope you’ll join me for the ride. Hey, who knows? Maybe you’ll start you own and we can be amateur photogs together!

Day One: Jan. 1, 2011

I promise I won’t become a sellout and post photos of dogs every day (plus, she leaves tomorrow.) I really loved the natural light in this shot coming in from the window to her right – I’m finding mornings are the absolute prime time for my new hobby. Here Norah is perched atop the couch keeping tabs on everyone as well as the cookie I held right next to my lens to keep her still.
